One of the best things about Croydon of course is the trams. Yes Ok, so Wimbledon can claim to have them too, but that’s not what that place is famous for. Come to think of it Croydon is probably famous for other things. Anyway none of this is getting us anywhere…
Anyway where there is public transport, there is lyrical prose on it. This book only came out back in June 2020 therefore is up to date with routing changes, expansion plans and, of course, deals with the horror of the Sandilands crash. The author is an accomplished writer, and over the 200 or so pages, writes with authority, passion and knowledge.
